Special conference rates have been negotiated with the Ramada Hotel & Suites Ballina Byron, and the Riverside Suites Ballina. To book accommodation at one of these properties, please read the Accommodation Booking Conditions below, complete your requirements on the registration form and return to East Coast Conferences. All bookings are room only (not including breakfast) and are subject to availability. Please note that the deadline for booking accommodation via the registration form is FRIDAY 12TH MARCH 2010.

Ramada Ballina Byron Bay Hotel Spa Rooms are superbly fitted out with modern, stylish decor and feature spa baths with shutters opening out to the bedroom. Rooms feature a courtyard or private balcony and superb waterfront views.  Bedding configuration is 1 King or 1 Queen. Sleeps 2 people.  Some rooms with sofa bed (additional $30 per night charge).

On the banks of the beautiful Richmond River, overlooking Fawcett Park, Riverside is a 44-room complex that offers superior accommodation at affordable prices. Riverside Suites is an easy 10 minute walk from the Ballina RSL Club.

The luxurious two bedroom apartments have large balconies, most with river views, and feature gourmet kitchen and laundry and ensuite bathroom with spa bath.

Accommodation Booking Conditions

Please Note:

• The accommodation rates quoted include GST and are subject to availability at time of booking.
• Rates may increase without notice due to changes in government charges, taxes or levies.
• Rates do not include breakfast.
• The deadline for accommodation bookings is FRIDAY 12th MARCH 2010.

Accommodation Payment: A minimum deposit equivalent to one night’s accommodation is required to secure your booking. Full prepayment of accommodation is also accepted. Alternatively, credit card details can be provided to secure the booking.

Accommodation Availability: Block bookings have been made at the listed accommodation properties, and will be confirmed on a first-in basis. Bookings have been made for the Conference dates only (Checking in on Wednesday 14th April and out on Friday 16th April 2010). Accommodation can be organised outside these dates on a request basis only, and room rates may vary outside these dates.  All accommodation bookings are subject to availability.

How to Book Accommodation: To book, download the PDF version of the Registration Form and fax, post or scan and email to East Coast Conferences. The Conference Managers will forward your reservation and deposit/full pre-payment to the property you have selected.

Change of Booking: Any change to a reservation must initially be notified to the Conference Managers and not directly to the hotel. Please note, any changes must be made to the Conference Managers by Friday 12th March 2010. After this date, please liaise directly with the hotel for any changes to your booking. Cancellations must be made in writing (fees may apply).

Late Arrivals: Please indicate on your registration form or notify the Conference Managers in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 6pm. Failure to notify of a late arrival may mean that your room will be released, and deposit forfeited.

Arrival Time: Hotel check-in time for both accommodation options is 2pm. If you are to arrive before this time it is probable that you will not be able to gain access to your room. To guarantee a room to be available for an early arrival you will need to pre-book your room for the previous night. If required please indicate on your registration form. (You will be charged by the hotel for the additional night).

Accommodation Refunds: Any accommodation cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival will be subject to at least one night’s accommodation cancellation fee. At least one night’s accommodation cancellation fee will also be incurred if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked. Cancellation fees are at the discretion of the hotel.
